The Characters
Good Guy
This detective is based in Oxford, and is all about doing what's right. They are open-minded and loyal, and came to the attention of the Malleus Maleficarum Council about five years ago.

Bad Guy
This witch is relatively young and very powerful. They want to prove themselves to the Witches Council, and make a name for themselves. The most obvious way to do so, is to go after one of the highest witch-hunting families in the UK - the Astleys.
They have friends in place, to infiltrate the University that the youngest Astley is studying at, and they don't care who they hurt along the way.
